Light a candle flame and sit quietly, centering on your inner flame and the candle flame. Feel the breath of life flow in and out of the void as you breath deeply. Be aware of the animal near by you that you are going to work on in vision, and be aware of their flame, however faint it might be.
Using you inner vision, walk slowly towards the central flame and pass through the flame into the convocation of priests and priestesses. You see the many priests and priestesses circling around the central flame and you too join in the ritual walking. As you walk around the flame, stay focused on the animal you are trying to help.
You become aware of a priest or priestess who is walking with you, who places a hand on your shoulder. Tell him/her about the animal you are trying to help If they can help you, they will lead you back to the central flame. If they cannot, they will guide you to someone who can.
Once you have acquired your helper, pass back through the central flame in to the room with the injured animal. Feel the contact behind you. In your inner vision, look the animal over carefully. The contact will guide you as you begin to work.
Your sight becomes heightened and you can see into the animal. Look at the organs and bones. Look at the brain and the spinal cord. Then look beyond the organs and skeleton to a web pattern that flows through the body. The strands of the web seem to come together at a central point in the body of the animal. At that central point is an orb of light.
Working with your fingers, reattach any broken or detached strands until the pattern is whole again. If the light within the orb is dim, breath life and light into the orb until it begins to glow brightly. Watch as the light travels down the web and ensure that it reaches every corner of the web. If it does not travel, look to see why. Maybe there is a damaged strand that needs repair.
The contact joins in at this point and you both work together. Feel the inner bones one by one, checking for fractures or splinters. If you find a damaged bone, gently remove it and replace it with whatever the contact hands to you. Be aware of the life force in the organs and bones, and strengthen any weak parts by allowing power to flow through your hands.
When the work is completed, gently wash the animal with water given to you by the inner contact and pat them dry. This cleansing washes away all the residue of suffering from the animal leaving the animal feeling fresh and clear. As you dry the animal, a song rises into your mind and the inner contact starts to sing the song. Join in with them, singing a song that is unique to the healing that particular animal.
The contact starts to walk towards the flame and you give thanks as they vanish into the fire. The sound of the song fills the room and protects the animal as it heals. Remember the song, and sing it whenever the animal is in distress or is ill.
Look at the candle flame and look at the flame of life within the animal. Then be aware of your own inner flame burning deep within you. Feel the stillness all around you as you sit in timeless union with the flame at the edge of the void. When you are ready, open your eyes and look at the candle flame. Whisper your gratitude to the inner contact who helped you and then blow out the candle flame.
